connect with (your) nature, in nature.

Some of these events are a part of a collaboration with my dear friend, soul sister and fellow teacher Skye Kleman. We formed our collective Into The Realms to bring you events inspired by the sacred sound of Aum/Om; representing the four states of consciousness. Our ceremonies and retreats weave together the ancient wisdom of ceremonial cacao, the deeply transformative power of breath work, movement and meditation, the healing properties of sound, and other ritual practices to transport you momentarily to another realm. You can expect all our events to have a clear emphasis on connecting to self, others and nature.

Previous Events:

Yoga for Climbers Workshop

Join me at The Island Wellbeing for this 90 minute workshop for rock climbers. We will focus on practices designed to prevent injury and improve technique. Expect lots of attention on shoulder and hip mobility, and plenty of core stabilising work.

As a climber myself, I know from personal experience that these practices go hand in hand, climbing recruits the muscle groups we often don’t strengthen in yoga, and yoga can help with both stretching and stabilising the muscles that get used on the wall. It’s all about balance!

I will guide you through a full yoga practice, including a strong flow that is designed to simulate the climbing experience, and you will walk away with a practical guide on warming up and cooling down pre- and post-climb (including access to a handy PDF with reminders of this information).

Please note: You don’t need to be a pro climber or have an established yoga practice to attend, everyone is welcome!

samhain.png

Join myself and Skye for this Samhain gathering, one of the seasonal celebrations of the Celtic calendar. We will be incorporating the medicine of cacao and the element of fire to honour the thinning of the veils between earth and the otherworlds, creating the sacred space to make offerings to our ancestors and spirit.

_

Cacao will be provided, but please bring a mug or ceremonial cup to drink from, as well as something you can give as an offering - either an offering of food (seasonal fruits, vegetables, nuts, seeds - nothing with packaging or ingredients that could harm animals!) or something that can be burned in the fire.

_

Also dress cozy and witchy as we will be outside for up to two hours! Feel free to reach out if you have any questions!

You can book a space via paypal by sending your payment here, or pay by card here.

Midsummer Night’s Dream

Join us in ceremony to welcome in the summer solstice and explore the dream state of consciousness.

We will be connecting to the element of fire, co-creating some magic and sound, through a drumming circle and mantra chanting to collectively call upon the manifesting and creative powers of the sun, before dropping into a dream state in which we can explore the possibilities of the reality we have the power to create.

Time, Date & Location: Gullane Beach, 19th June, 6pm.

Energy Exchange: £44 // £55 Payable here.

Sound Therapy Training: August 6th-8th

We are honoured to be hosting international sound healing teacher Marko Zigon for three levels of sound therapy training over three days this August at Beetroot Savage in Edinburgh. Each day will be held from 10.00 a.m. to 5.00 p.m.

This course is perhaps the most complete available on the market as it includes all the crucial aspects; not only Himalayan singing bowls training, but rather an "integral" 360 degrees’ approach.

Topics covered are conveyed in a comprehensive (practically supported way) in a total of 48 chapters, covering all the major sound healing tools families: Tuning Forks, Himalayan singing bowls, Crystal singing bowls, Gongs and other sound therapy tools. You will have a chance to experience many tools and protocols over the course of this training.

At the end you’ll receive a colour printed handover for each level and an internationally accredited certificate of completion. There will be a lot of practical exercises: you will have the option to be a "giver" and "receiver" thus resulting in a better understanding of the subject and confidence to start facilitating sessions immediately.

With the exception of “Motivation” there are no basic requirements to join the course.
The training is accredited by an internationally renowned and well respected organisation of holistic medicine which gives the participants the right not only to perform group and private sessions but also obtain professional insurance that is often required to operate this type of activity legally.
